the bus stop walls I love this album so much because of the reflection of the slow, melancholy tracks and the powerful, energetic ballads. Overall the musicianship is just beautiful! Favorite track: Lithography.

Icicles 01:43
The one fell into the ocean, the other shot out of the sky.

Care 03:20
Sun-setter reads like a map, Disconcerting. Moth in a wind tunnel, hat Not a halo. Lump in her throat on the phone. “They can’t make me!” Paint in her veins, coloured bones are aching. Care. I wrote lists as a whisper crossed her lips. She said “Fuck the destination; we’ve got tickets and a station, don’t we?” Heavy truth. We both calmly crossed the room She said “History’s a moot point now that I am here with you. We’re leaving.” She makes decisions like a bonfire And fills our house with coloured smoke. I love her like a limb, She gives back time to physics, hear you. Care.

The air is thick, Shallow the water. My feet are bare and shadows grace the roof. And if she moves I’m going with her. I hear her voice call… And I don’t care enough. I need an opportunity To climb aboard and dive And disappear that way And what is more, I can’t Bare another to me ‘Cause I don’t care enough. Inside the whale, asleep. From the inside Jonah waved. From the outside scared of tidal waves. And I don’t care enough. I need an opportunity To climb aboard and dive And disappear that way And what is more, I can’t Bare another to me ‘Cause I don’t care enough. Inside the whale, asleep. She is a prism, That golden prison. She is a vampire and I’m uncovering my neck. She is a mirror And I can hear her And I can see my house from here.

I ran the soles of my feet, so did my neighbours. They lost a landslide of votes in my favour. I saved my wages for weeks to rescue my daughters. I asked a pirate to do me a favour, Carry me away across the water. Every night I get a little bit scared to death. (Back to the old country, Back to the old country) So I ask a pirate to do me a favour. (Back to the old country, Back to the old country) Nightmares of armies and guns in my memory. (Back to the old country, Back to the old country) Wave a white flag on the bough of our liberty, Dancing around on our bones in the free falling rain. Smoke covers everything, even my neighbours. I saw a light at the tunnels end flickering. Looked at my babies asleep, had to start bailing. I took a chance ‘cause I had to do something. Looked to the sky, Begged St Anthony rescue my… Daughters, Daughters. Every night I get a little bit scared to death. (Back to the old country, Back to the old country) So I ask the first world to open her arms to me. (Back to the old country, Back to the old country) Nightmares of armies and guns in my memory. (Back to the old country, Back to the old country) I hope to Christ we don’t become a policy. Dancing around on our bones in the free falling rain. Rain. In the old country I had dreamed it was all a mistake. Now I’m girt by sea And by boundless plains of red tape. Now at night I dream Of a white picket paradise promised to me and my… …Daughters Daughters Daughters Daughters!

Resolutions 02:55
Top of the year To us. Raise a cheer and raise a fuss. Bereft of Auld Lang Syne. Party in pairs, Raise dust. Partly clean, discover chairs and vacant signs. Top off your drink And say “Nevermore to end this way!” Your neck, a noose, has tied. Throw me a wave And say Toast to midnight. Get a drink and kiss goodnight. She said “Happy New Year! Happy New Year! Happy New Year!” I spent a year In space Slowing down my higher brain And wasting all your time. Stoic and scared to say Resolution simply… I’m never gonna die! I’m never gonna die! I’m never gonna die! I’m never gonna die!

Lithography 02:48
We are the keys turning. We are the torn asunder. We are the terrifying noise that keeps you from your slumber. We are the ants farming. Our war is never over. We are the battle criers singing so we live forever. You are the fire breathers. You are the silver spooners. You’re harping on and on and on and on. The world is ripe for us. The world is ripe for us. The world is ripe for us. The world is ripe for us until we get lost in it. You are the mouth open. You are the pride of mothers. You are the nervously anticipated honest moment. You are the hearts beating. You are The Screwtape Letters. You’re harping on and on and on and on. You are the sun setting Over Horizon, Over Night you are the end of the day. The world is ripe for us. The world is ripe for us. The world is ripe for us. The world is ripe for us until we get lost in it. The world is ripe for us. The world is ripe for us. The world is ripe for us. The world is ripe for us until we get lost in it.

The blinking neon sign In the world outside Is an understated sigh And it peels my eyes. I’ll have one more glass of wine In a whole lifetime And the guillotine will glide My way tonight. I’ll be honest I feel over rated, This I promised not exonerated. Halley’s Comet, come uncomplicated. Panic; Vomit; missing signals. To the Middle of the night Goes the old march fly. No more waving, no goodbyes, No grace alight. I have one more chance to fire Arrows into the sky Once they land I’ll leave and I Will be alright. I’ll be houses, I’ll be picket fences, I’ll be wine and I’ll be degustation. I’ll be finance, I’ll be commonplace and I’ll be honest, I feel over rated. Halley’s Comet finds me bloated after Fifty phony mortgage loan repayments. I’ll be over, I feel closer now to Loosing moorings and to leaving.

Achilles 04:22
Standing on a bridge you had your Holy light receding. Heirloom Proud but not pretentious. Hold it over us. Heroes read the paper with a Coffee and a cigarette. ‘The Spanish Inquisition won’t catch up with us.’ Turning out the inches you had all you had to give me. You said… ‘What if the world comes down? Don’t do it! What if the rain comes down?’ Touch me on the wrist where you had Covered up the stitches. All the Fireflies in Christendom are Present for the signature. Achilles frees his boots from dirt, We read about the end of the world ‘What if the world comes down? Don’t do it! What if the rain comes down?’ ‘What if the world comes down? Don’t do it! What if the rain comes down?’ Restless as natives now, I’m through with Aiming my arrows. Archer’s bows are broken, swords are Tired of unsheathing this will Never ever, ever, ever end. ‘What if the world comes down? Don’t do it! What if the rain comes down?’ -Light keeps fading out in secret. Standing on a bridge, you’ve given All you have to give and still it Never ever, ever, ever ends.

I wade through the water In The Deep South East. It appears to be obvious, I ask the salt to cover me On my way to the airport With a map faded clean. I look to my father In his white cotton sheet. He appears like a newborn, His blood won’t let him rest a wink. If this place is the answer, So it goes, c’est la vie. And I don’t remember If I ever believed He would stretch on forever Like the Caspian Sea. Most people don’t wonder why the seasons change Like me. The curtain falls, The red sun calls, You give your body over. All I can do Is carry on without you. Clench my teeth and close my eyes And let that holy salt take over. And I don’t remember If I ever believed He would stretch on forever And we’d always be free. And I will remember Something you said to me, That ‘The sun makes a river Of the Caspian Sea. Most people will never let the seasons change Like me.’

Every instinct of mine says to leave before the summer. She is twisting a lime in her drink. It is well known that I have a history of cancer. It’s a long stretch of time divides a week. “Now arriving at parliament.” I wander after exits. She is waiting for boredom to atrophy. I’ll be waiting in line ‘til then, To a freeway I am tethered and I don’t wanna wait ‘Cause I don’t No I don’t believe in love. No I don’t believe in love. Watershed heart Twisting out my hollow, blackened lungs Leaves me in the arms of hell. Watershed heart Tells me there’s no point in weighing up These things, there’s no heart in here Watershed heart, Shed hard. Watershed heart, Shed hard. Watershed Heart. She would talk about my weakness in an emphysemic wheeze. ‘There are blisters on you baby that would bring me to my knees.” She would ask if she could meet me in some histrionic bar Just to let me down uneasy, hit me so hard I see stars. And I don’t believe in love so I’ll spare us both the pain And I’ll raise a glass to animals who would not act this way. Then I’ll tell it like it is and when 15 years pass We will act like nothing happened. Party’s over for both of us.

Indigone 05:05
When the buzzards are circling your head, When the morning tastes white, When the tidal waves burst your riverbed, Indi go, tonight. When the emptying takes up all of your bed In the Byron bay tide I’ll be waiting there with an arrow in my head, I’ll be late and night blind. Indi go, tonight. Indi go, tonight. Indigo did go, did go back into night. Indigo, Tonight.
